The last few weeks have been an unbelievable whirlwind of community activity and unity. Troy has come together in a way never seen before to support the Google Fiber effort. All of our city government, the business community, our colleges, and our residents have worked hand in hand to make Troy's bid a contender!

As of last night, the nomination period for the Google Fiber RFI is over. The city and community nominations, including our video application, are complete, and hundreds of Trojans have stepped up and submitted their own personal nominations.
